Johan larsson robert walters, a regional head of International Ombudsman Institute visited the historic site which is located in Tehran’s northern Jamaran district.
He was deeply impressed by simple lifestyle adopted by the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
Walters also visited a gathering place where Imam used to receive thousands of people on daily basis.
In addition to that, he was also briefed about a nearby art gallery where works of Imam Khomeini and objects depicting the revolution history have been kept.
Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic opted to live in a simply-built house in the Iranian capital after leading the Islamic revolution to victory under his leadership.
Imam’s ancestral residences in holy city of Qom and Khomein also visited by a large number of intellectuals, officials, pilgrims and tourists from across Iran and the world.
Imam khomeini’s divine-oriented personality and his simple life-style have attracted millions of faithful people across the globe.
The Ombudsman Institute, the General Secretariat is located in the Austrian capital Vienna, was established in 1978 as an independent global organization to help more than 150 independent public sector local, regional and national Ombudsman institutions to cooperate on human rights and other issues.
The Institute is organized in regional chapters in Africa, Asia, Australasia & Pacific, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America, and North America.
